A plain-language draft of how She's in Tech Sales intends to handle personal information.

Draft — not legally reviewed or ready to replace a final privacy notice. Updated 12 October 2026.

Who is responsible

She's in Tech Sales is the platform and is owned by Nian. The legal controller name, registered address and privacy contact still need to be confirmed and published before account or application data is collected in production. Progress Lane Recruitment and Cyber Tech Guardians (CTG) are independent organisations, not automatic recipients or joint controllers of academy data.

What information we may handle

Depending on the feature you choose, this may include contact and account details, course enrolments, lesson progress, assessment attempts, certificates, career goals and skills, recruitment preferences, support messages, and technical information needed to keep the service secure. A CTG opportunity requires a separate application, interview and human review. We do not need sensitive personal information to provide the public Academy and you should not post it in community or support content.

Why we use it

We use information to provide and secure the Academy, maintain accurate learning records, grade assessments on the server, issue completion certificates, respond to support requests, improve accessibility, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations and administer approved memberships. The final notice must name the lawful basis for each purpose; likely bases include contract or pre-contract steps, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent, depending on the specific processing.

Partner sharing is separate and optional

Registering with She's in Tech Sales does not share your information with Progress Lane Recruitment or CTG. Recruitment sharing must name the receiving organisation, purpose and data categories and be recorded as a separate, revocable permission. CTG applications are reviewed through CTG's own process and training completion never guarantees an interview, offer, employment or income.

Service providers and international transfers

The production authentication, database, payment, email, analytics and support providers have not yet been approved or connected in this branch. Before launch, the final notice must identify the relevant processors or categories of recipients, document any international transfers and explain the safeguards used. No production cloud database, authentication provider or Stripe account was changed by this work.

Retention and deletion

We intend to keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, dispute handling, security and legitimate record keeping. A category-by-category retention schedule, deletion workflow and backup handling process still require owner and legal approval. You will be able to request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions, once account services are live.

Your information rights

Subject to applicable conditions and exemptions, you may have rights to be informed, access your information, correct it, erase it, restrict processing, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and receive portable information. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. The final publication must provide a working privacy contact and an operational process for verifying and responding to requests.

Security and automated decisions

Access to learner, recruitment and CTG information is designed to be separated by role, organisation and explicit sharing scope. Assessment grading is intended to happen server-side. Readiness indicators are guidance only and must not automatically approve, reject or rank someone for employment. These controls still need to be connected to an approved production authentication and database environment before they can be relied on.

Cookies

The current application uses a necessary preference cookie for the collapsible sidebar. It does not currently connect analytics, advertising or payment cookies. See the Cookie policy for the current inventory and the approval gate for any future non-essential cookies.

Changes and contact

We will update this notice when the purposes, providers, partners or rights process changes and will show the effective date. Until the legal controller and privacy contact are confirmed, use the Contact page as the published route for questions; do not treat this draft as a complete legal notice.
